For this 108 Mala I used 6mm White Onyx, 6mm White Jade, Grey Agate, Pyrite, brass spacer beads and a vegan faux silk tassel. The mala has been hand knotted on an extra strong, nylon cord with one knot between each gemstone bead. It not only looks great, it also makes it easy to use it as a tool in your meditation practice.
Mala length: 33" (84cm). Tassel length: 3 1/2" (90mm).
White Onyx can help make its owners mind positive and purify negative energy. It can clear anxiety and sadness and help you deal with inner and outer stress. It is connected to the Crown Chakra (connection, life force, higher power).
Agate has properties that will help you balancing yin/yang energy, courage, protection, healing, and calming. It soothes and calms, healing inner anger or tension and creates a sense of security and safety. Agate is a stone of strength, it gives courage, emotional strength and self-confidence, and dispels fears. It is connected to and can remove blockage from any chakra (depending on color).
Jade is a stone used to attract love, fidelity and healing. It is connected to the Heart Chakra (love, acceptance, forgiveness) and the Third Eye Chakra (intuition, knowledge, divine wisdom).
Pyrite is a powerful protection stone and is very grounding, and it is a traditional symbol for money and good luck. Use this stone to overcome lethargy and fatigue and strengthening of the mind. Pyrite makes a wonderful energy shield and blocking out negativity, overcoming feelings of inadequacy and energizes the area where you place it. It is connected to the Sacral Chakra (sexuality, relationships, creativity) and the Solar Plexus Chakra (personal power, confidence, respect for self and others).
The Tassel represents enlightenment. As the strands combine together into one, it represents our connection to the Divine and to each other. It also symbolizes our prana and consciousness.
