I am EarthBound
For this 108 Mala I used 6mm Larvikite Labradorite, Pyrite, Gold Sheen Obsidian, brass spacer beads and brass Feather amulet. The mala has been hand knotted on an extra strong, nylon cord with one knot between each gemstone bead. It not only looks great, it also makes it easy to use it as a tool in your meditation practice.
Mala length: 35" (89cm). Amulet length: 2 1/2" (60mm).
Labradorite is a power stone that will help you to see through illusions and determine the actual form of your dreams and goals. It is excellent for strengthening intuitions. It is connected to the Third Eye Chakra (intuition, knowledge, divine wisdom) and the Crown Chakra (connection, life force, higher power).
Pyrite is a powerful protection stone and is very grounding, and it is a traditional symbol for money and good luck. Use this stone to overcome lethargy and fatigue and strengthening of the mind. Pyrite makes a wonderful energy shield and blocking out negativity, overcoming feelings of inadequacy and energizes the area where you place it. It is connected to the Sacral Chakra (sexuality, relationships, creativity) and the Solar Plexus Chakra (personal power, confidence, respect for self and others).
Obsidian is a volcanic stone of purity, that brings balance to the body, mind and spirit. It is a very grounding and protective stone. It is used as a great cleanser of negative energies, helping to remove not only negativity experienced in the environment, but also that of one’s own emotions, such as anger, jealousy, greed and resentment. It is connected to the Root Chakra (connection to earth, survival instincts, self-preservation).
The Feather is a symbol of spiritual evolution, connection to a higher plane and communication with spirit. It also represent the power of the thunder gods, along with the power of air and wind.
