For this long "showstopper" 108 Mala I used 8mm Amethyst, Grainstone and a vegan faux silk tassel. The mala has been hand knotted on an extra strong, nylon cord with one knot between each gemstone bead. It not only looks great, it also makes it easy to use it as a tool in your meditation practice.

Grainstone is an assisting stone used to enhance healing properties, encourages purification, reminds us of our innocence, grounds and centers us and entices positive thoughts. It is connected to the Root Chakra (connection to earth, survival instincts, self-preservation).

Jade is a stone used to attract love, fidelity and healing. It is connected to the Heart Chakra (love, acceptance, forgiveness) and the Third Eye Chakra (intuition, knowledge, divine wisdom).

Carnelian is an energy booster. It helps the insecure person to find strength within them, so they can come into their own. It is also a stone of protection from anger, jealousy and fear. In addition, it can help with manifestation of one’s desires, and bring good luck. It is connected to the Sacral Chakra (sexuality, relationships, creativity).

The Tassel represents enlightenment. As the strands combine together in to one, it represents our connection to the Divine and to each other. It also symbolizes our prana and consciousness.
